E&P How to Level with Extra Blocks

In case there is ever a time where you need a bit of extra support of blocks.

This video shows you how to use blocks to help levelling.

Step 1: If you see this message you will need blocks to help you reach a level position. The message is shown when one of the jacks or corner steadies has reached the end of its stroke.

Step 2: Locate the jack or corner steady that looks like it is fully extended.

Step 3: Retract all jacks and corner steadies.

Step 4: Place a block or piece of marine plywood with a surface area larger than the footplate and position is under the jack or corner steady. Then auto-level.

Step 5: Watch the jack/corner steady that reached the end of its stroke and ensure it sits squarely on the block or plywood.

Step 6: Your system should now auto-level. If the warning message is displayed again, repeat the process for other jacks or corner steadies.
